Kino

Something I never really talk about is Kino. I don't know why it's eluded me for so long, for this I'm sorry.

Some thoughts:

Do it early. Do it like you'd do to your buddy Jim (or Brian, or Rob). Do it to everyone. Guys, Girls, pets...

Also, don't look at your hand; doing so makes you look awkward.

When you're on, touching people is something that you do unconciously, but nonetheless, its something that you should remember before you go out.

Touching people shows that you are confident. It also shows that you are endearing.

So please, go out and touch someone..

Finally, thanks to everyone for getting real active with the commenting. Some really great conversation.

What do we think of the new name/look?!?!?

Hey,

Just want to point out one thing...

You say: "Do it like you'd do to your buddy"

I don't know 'bout you, but I came from a place where I was shy and did not initiate kino with anyone. Even good friends.

Right now however, I do have kino with friends, and I learned to treat everyone as my friend... I can really hit that switch in my head, which makes it easy for kino and setting up fun and humorous interactions.

Hope this addition helps a bit.

Great point.

One thing I have to work on with my posts is assuming that everyone is similar to me when I give advice...been running into this problem alot lately.

Everyone is coming from a different place.

I'm glad you touched on this subject, there are so many interactions that I watch that go nowhere because kino hasn't been initiated.

When my wings and I go out, we'll literally say out loud, "Have you seen our friend kino?"

It usually gets a chuckle from the guy in set and he immediately kinos. I suggest you try it out, the funny outcome is that if there are other PUAs in the vicinity, their heads will automatically turn towards you. Viola! You've spotted other members of the community you may not have noticed/met before.

A couple of my favorite kino moves:

1. Shoulder tap when opening
2. Forearm touch during story
3. Back of elbow to redirect attention when the obstacle or target's eyes start to wander.

Nice layout, easy to read. Great job.

Peace,

Mango
